On November 26th and 27th, many of the state’s top high school programs will once again compete at this invitation only event. Last year’s event featured 3 teams that were ranked in ESPN’s Top 50 Teams, including the #1 ranked teams from Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. This year’s field includes four state champions and three state runner-ups. Featured teams for this year’s event are loaded with talent and eager to compete.
The 2nd Annual DFW Metroplex Hoops Thanksgiving Hoopfest will now be played at the beautiful 2,000-seat Sandra Meadows Arena on the campus of Duncanville High School. This state-of-the-art venue is comparable to many college venues. Features include a lofty ceiling, carpeted locker rooms, and a control booth. This arena is named for the legendary Coach Sandra Meadow who won 908 games and four state titles.
